Lifestylepathx does one thing: help clients in Kenya and East Africa protect capital through risk-managed strategies that hold up when conditions deteriorate.
Who we are and what we do
Lifestylepathx was founded in Malindi in 2016 by a small group of financial professionals who had spent years working inside larger institutions and noticed the same pattern repeatedly: clients with significant assets but no coherent protection around them. The institution's incentive was product placement; the client's need was structural clarity. We set up independently to close that gap. We are a team of four full-time advisers and two associate professionals, covering risk management, insurance structuring, trust and holding-company coordination, and ongoing advisory. Our clients are predominantly business owners, medical and legal professionals, property investors, and individuals managing inherited wealth — people who have accumulated meaningful capital and want to be systematic about not losing it. We are based on Lamu Road in Malindi and serve clients across the Kenyan Coast, Nairobi, and internationally where assets require cross-border attention.
How we work — and where we stop
Every engagement begins with a full picture session: a structured conversation, typically two hours, in which we map every asset, liability, insurance policy, and structural arrangement a client currently holds. From that session we produce a one-page Capital Map — our internal shorthand for the overview document that anchors every subsequent conversation. We are not a licensed investment manager, and we don't select or manage securities portfolios. We don't sell insurance products on commission — our income is entirely fee-based, charged directly to clients on an agreed fixed or retainer basis. We also don't promise specific financial outcomes. Capital protection strategies reduce and manage risk; they do not eliminate it, and any adviser who tells you otherwise is selling you something. Since 2016 we have completed over 180 formal engagements across the Coast and Nairobi, and we maintain a deliberately small active client list — currently around 50 ongoing mandates — to ensure every client receives consistent, senior-level attention rather than being handed down to a junior team. Our charcoal-gold approach to every client file reflects the same discipline: analytical depth balanced with a long-term view, with no shortcuts and no noise.
