Questions we're often asked before a first meeting
Is there a minimum level of assets to work with you?
We don't publish a formal minimum, but our engagements are most valuable for clients with net assets above KSh 5,000,000 or a professional income requiring structured protection. If you're not sure whether you fit the profile, tell us a little about your situation and we'll be honest about whether we can add real value.
How are your fees structured?
We charge fixed fees for initial engagements — the full-picture session and the resulting Capital Map — and an agreed annual retainer for ongoing advisory mandates. We do not receive commissions from any product provider. Fee ranges depend on the scope of the engagement and are discussed at the first meeting before any commitment is made.
How long does the initial engagement take?
Most initial engagements — from the first conversation to a completed Capital Map with a prioritised action plan — take between four and eight weeks, depending on the complexity of your current arrangements and how quickly documents can be gathered.
Do you work with clients outside Kenya?
Yes, where a client's capital protection needs span jurisdictions — for example, assets held in the UK, UAE, or across East Africa — we coordinate with professionals in those jurisdictions and provide the strategic oversight from our Malindi base. We don't provide tax or legal advice in those jurisdictions ourselves.
